Celebrate friendship and future friendships with other UU women (and those who identify as women) at the UU Women’s Retreat on Saturday, April 20.>/p>

Location:

Washburn Library, 307 Washington Avenue and the Washburn Meditation Center (next door to the library)>/p>

Time:   8:45 a.m. to about 4:00PM, Saturday, April 20

What to expect:

Chalice lighting and extinguishing to bracket the day.  Great conversations led by Stacy Craig and Jan Perkins. A slide presentation from Conny Bell about overcoming fear and kayaking solo around Lake Superior. Pranayama breathing and chair yoga led by Sandra Brue. Chances to walk and talk or free write and sketch time. *Free,  on-site babysitting provided 8:45 am-12 pm.

*You will have a chance to order lunch from North Shore Coffee to be delivered at noon,  or you are free to pack a lunch.  There is a refrigerator and microwave available.

*Money donations for Stone Soup Cafe, the pay-what-you-can restaurant in Ashland, run by volunteers,  are being collected (optional)

*Light refreshments, coffee, tea, fruit, will be available over the course of the day (contributions gladly accepted.)
